The new co-ordinator for this activity, has systematically gone through our list of seniors considered vulnerable, to make them aware of the services that OSCS can provide.
Raising awareness and building confidence within the senior community
Enrolling of “shut-in” seniors needing check-up phone calls is on-going.
Home family visits have been arranged
Provision of Meals for Seniors who are no longer able to cook for themselves
Transporting and accompanying seniors to medical appointments, social events, etc.
Demonstrations provide members with an encouraging learning experience.
Members take part in unique hands-on activities.
Presentations by guest speakers are often giving during our Senior Day events. Members learn important and pertinent information regarding a wide array of topics.
